It's so easy to use, provide to pullets beginning at 18 weeks of age and continue usage to reduce calcium depletion in your girls as well as reduce soft shelled and/or broken eggs. I've used Treats for Chickens Oyster Shell since my girls started laying last year. I ran out and picked up a box on Amazon from another vendor, the pieces were much smaller. Low and behold one of my girls starting laying soft eggs. Back to Treats for Chickens. Thank you.

I offer the oyster shell in a separate feeder for them to feed at will. So far they produce many eggs with perfect shells.

I think my chicks were dong ok and didn't need this, but added to there diet anyway.

My hens prefer these oyster shell flakes to any previous brands of oyster shell I have purchased. There is less "oyster dust" in the bag so less waste.

If you own chickens, feed them oyster shell calcium to keep them healthy and make their egg shells strong and not brittle. These bags are 5.5 lbs. Other brands sell 5 pounds and it costs more. We like Treats for Chickens. The people in customer service are nice serious chicken fanatics.
